OTTACU (“we”) respects your privacy. This explains what information we collect and how we use it. By using ottacu.com or ordering from us, you agree to this policy.
When you place an order, you share your name, delivery address, pincode, and phone number with us via WhatsApp. If you join our drop-alert list, we collect your email address.
Our website stores your cart in your own browser (local storage) so it isn’t lost between pages. We do not collect payment-card details, since orders are Cash on Delivery.
We use your details only to confirm, pack, ship, and deliver your order, to handle exchanges, and — if you opted in — to notify you about new drops.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
We share your delivery details only with our courier partners to fulfil your order, and with WhatsApp/Meta as the platform you message us through.
These partners process data under their own privacy terms.
You can ask us to update or delete your information, or unsubscribe from drop alerts, at any time by emailing hello@ottacu.com.
We keep order information only as long as needed for our records and applicable law.
Cookies are small text files a website places in your browser, and local storage works similarly by holding small amounts of data on your device. Along with pixels and similar tools, these are what most sites mean by “tracking”.
OTTACU keeps this to the minimum. We use only essential browser storage — it remembers the items in your cart between pages so your selection isn’t lost. That data stays on your device, and we don’t use it to follow you across other websites.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we don’t sell or share your browsing behaviour for ad targeting. We currently run no analytics. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, we’ll update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential storage may stop the cart from working correctly.
